NDB President Discusses Plans for 2017, Potential Projects and Opportunities for Cooperation at #SPIEF.
Mr. K.V.#Kamath, the President of the New Development Bank discussed the plans of the #NDB for 2017, potential projects in Russia and opportunities for cooperation during his meetings with high-ranking officials and business leaders at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2017.
The President of the NDB took part in a panel session “BRICS: Boosting Economic Cooperation.” During the session, Mr. K.V.Kamath shared the plans of the NDB for 2017 and reaffirmed support that the Bank could provide for projects in all member countries of the NDB. On the same date, Mr. K.V.Kamath participated in the meeting of the President of Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Putin with members of International Advisory Board of the Russian Direct Investment Fund and CEOs of leading institutional investors. At the meeting, Mr. K.V.Kamath highlighted that the NDB is actively expanding its pipeline of projects from all member countries of the Bank, including Russia.
During the meeting with Tatarstan President Mr. Rustam Minnikhanov, the possibility of joint implementation of projects was discussed. Tatarstan, as one of the leading and industrially developed regions of Russia, is interested in developing cooperation with the NDB, Mr. Minnikhanov noted.
The potential for cooperation in the area of energy was discussed during the working meeting of Mr. K.V.Kamath with Deputy Minister of Energy of Russian Federation Mr. Anton Inyutsin.
On the sidelines of the SPIEF 2017, the NDB President had a working meeting with Mr. Leonid Mikhelson, the Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Novatek, the Chairman of PJSC SIBUR’s Board of Directors.
On the same date, Mr. K.V.Kamath the NDB President had a working meeting with Gazprombank’s senior management, including Mr. Andrey Akimov, the Chairman of the Management Board.

Банк БРИКС планирует инвестировать в строительство дорог в России (TASS, EABC)
Эксперты Нового банка развития #БРИКС изучают возможность финансирования проектов по строительству дорог в России. Об этом #ТАСС сообщил вице-президент банка Чжу Сянь.
"Мы утвердили первый набор проектов и сейчас мы начинаем искать новые проекты в России и других странах. Ряд российских проектов привлек наше внимание, особенно в сфере транспорта. Мы их изучим и потом можно будет говорить о скорости их реализации", - сказал он, уточнив, что "это дороги, скоростные автомагистрали".
О финансировании ВСМ Москва - Казань
По словам вице-президента банка, новый банк развития БРИКС готов оказать финансовую поддержку проекту строительства высокоскоростной магистрали (ВСМ) Москва - Казань.
"Формально мы еще не приступили к выделению средств. Мы увидели заинтересованность в финансировании этого крупного проекта, для которого нужно много ресурсов", - сказал он. "Если Китай и Россия пригласят нас, то мы очень серьезно к нему отнесемся. Но пока этого не произошло", - добавил собеседник.
Общая стоимость строительства ВСМ Москва - Казань превышает 1 трлн рублей. Участок Москва - Казань в будущем может стать частью высокоскоростной магистрали Москва - Пекин, стоимость строительства которой оценивается в 7 трлн рублей, и проекта "Шелковый путь", который свяжет Китай с рынками Европы и Ближнего Востока.
Китай намерен предоставить 400 млрд рублей на проект ВСМ Москва - Казань в кредит на 20 лет, более 100 млрд рублей - в качестве взноса в уставный капитал специальной проектной компании. При этом, как ранее сообщал Мишарин, Китай больше не требует суверенных госгарантий по проекту, речь идет о формате концессии, при котором государство берет на себя обязательства как концедент.
Протяженность ВСМ Москва - Казань составит около 770 км, скорость движения поездов будет достигать 400 км/ч. На трассе будут организованы остановки через каждые 50-70 км. Время в пути от Москвы до Казани по ВСМ составит 3,5 часа против нынешних четырнадцати.
Об активизации сотрудничества с ВЭБ
Чжу Сянь также сообщил, что новый банк развития БРИКС ведет с ВЭБ переговоры о укреплении сотрудничества.
"Мы заинтересованы в сотрудничестве с национальными банками развития других стран, это лишь вопрос времени. Что касается российских банков, то это ВЭБ", - сказал он.
"Я не знаю, на каком этапе сейчас находятся переговоры, но у нас уже есть набор инструкций о том, как заключить соглашение с другими банками развивающихся стран", - добавил Чжу Сянь.
Кроме того, по его словам, проходят переговоры с рядом коммерческих банков. "Я пока не готов сказать их названия, но это различные формы сотрудничества с банками из различных стран", - отметил вице-президент банка.
О размещении облигаций в России
Кроме того, по словам Чжу Сяня, новый банк развития БРИКС ведет подготовку к размещению облигаций на российском рынке.
"Мы планируем. Пока рано говорить о времени размещения, пока мы ведем переговоры с российским правительством", - сказал он.
Новый банк развития БРИКС - международная финансовая организация, созданная странами - участницами БРИКС (Россия, Индия, Китай, Бразилия и ЮАР) для наращивания взаимных инвестиций и финансирования проектов в областях инфраструктуры и устойчивого развития. В этом году банк одобрил финансирование первых пяти инвестиционных проектов на $911 млн.

AIIB President: AIIB door open to new members
At a press conference on Sunday, Jin Liqun, president of the Asian
Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), said the AIIB's door has been
opened and the door will stay open.
Jin made the remarks in response to a question about whether the AIIB's door is open to Japan and the United States.

The press conference was held after the conclusion of the two-day inaugural meeting of the AIIB's board of governors, which approved by-laws, rules and codes of conduct for the bank.
The Beijing-based development bank is designed to provide financial support for infrastructure development and re gional connectivity in Asia.
With authorized capital of 100 billion U.S. dollars, the AIIB prioritizes investment in energy, power generation, transportation, rural infrastructure, environmental protection and logistics.

Страны БРИКС готовы к дедолларизации ( #BRICS )
В Уфе завершился сдвоенный саммит БРИКС и ШОС. Изоляция России, об успехах которой говорил американский президент, мягко говоря, не получается. Важные решения были приняты на саммите ШОС и на двухсторонних переговорах, но давайте сейчас внимательно разберём итоги саммита БРИКС, по итогам которого можно говорить о более чётко оформленных контурах новой мировой политической реальности. За общими формулировками итоговой декларации саммита можно разглядеть реальные шаги по переходу к многополярности. До «царства справедливости» ещё, конечно, далеко, но и абсолютный диктат Соединённых Штатов остаётся в прошлом.
